Pasture Raised

22”x28” oil on canvas, unframed

$1300

Growing up in rural Missouri, my summers and weekends were filled with activities to sustain the cattle that my family raised. With three fields to rotate through during the year, the herd was always pasture raised, even before that was a term in our common vernacular. Curious and cautious, several cows and young steers posed for a photo that my sister took a few years ago, which became the inspiration for this painting.
