For only a few weeks this holiday season, I will be selling my art in a new, wearable way. Each delicate feather is hand cut from my damaged or discarded painted canvases and then matched by similarity in color and texture to create a one-of-a-kind pair. Please note: each pair is a little bit mis-matched since each feather is unique. For an even greater mis-matched, unique look, some feather earrings are sold individually. The feathers measure approximately 3” long (3.5” with the hooks) by 1” to 1.25” wide. All feathers are triple varnished to protect them from the everyday elements and then are attached to silver kidney hooks that clasp in the back, keeping them secure while wearing.
This single earring was hand cut from an oil-on-canvas painting into a feather shape, triple varnished, and attached to kidney hooks. NOTE: this is just one earring, not a pair.
